Is dressing down the new dressing up!
“Less is more” might be age old cliche, but holds true for styling these days. When basic, sleek, simple minimalist style is done right, it can make more impact than even the loudest of outfits. It can mean as simple as a basic white tee with blue denims or an easy formula of a maxi dress with your favorite slides. It might mean different things to different people but we all what we can be sure of is minimalist style is back.Keeping things clean and minimal can be just as fun as experimenting with colors and prints. I cant deny the fact that I love doing the latter, but we all need a change, dont we? Plus a wardrobe fully stocked with pieces that go together seamlessly makes for much easier mornings.
White, gray and black are the most favorite and reliable picks of a minimalist shopper. You can never have too many whites or blacks ever. No matter how much the number you always fall short of it. They tend to be covetable season after season. Im sure all of you are aware of my obsession with whites. There is literally never a time I go shopping and not get back with a pair of whites.
Speaking of my obsession and the outfit in this post, I got this dress from CoverStory. What I love about the dress if its beautiful long bell sleeve and its perfect fit. It fits your body like its custom made for you. Being white it can be paired with anything. Add in the right accessories and bright pair of pumps and it can be turned into an evening wear. Alternatively, I chose to just keep it basic with a solid ivory stone neckpiece and colored fur slides.
